Deadline Fast Approaching for Environmental Grants from Greggs Foundation

21-Jun-2017

The Greggs Foundation is still accepting applications from not-for-profit and similar organisations that seek funding for environmental projects.

The Greggs Foundation use money it raises from the 5p levy on carrier bag sales in Greggs’ shops to provide grants to small not-for-profit organisations and schools in Great Britain for projects that make a difference to local areas.

Grants of up to £2,000 are available for projects which make a difference to local areas across Great Britain.

Greggs are interested in hearing from projects that improve the physical environment in a way that will improve people's lives: This can include purchase of equipment, sessional salary costs, purchase of trees/plants, small capital projects and learning activities.

They are also interested in new approaches and innovative ideas as well as sustainable approaches to support local environment.

The deadline for Round 2 applications is 24th June 2017, with further dates to be announced later.

For more details, visit the Greggs Foundation website.
