Free HeadStart Kent and CORC Workshop for the VCS – May 201805-Apr-2018
You are cordially invited to attend a FREE workshop this coming May, introducing the various methods to record and report on the wellbeing of children and young adults.
The Child Outcomes Research Consortium (CORC), are hosting a free Workshop on the 15th May 2018 which will introduce outcome and feedback measures for monitoring children and young people’s Social and Emotional Mental Health and Wellbeing (SEMHW).
CORC are a leading research organisation in the field of Children’s Mental Health and Wellbeing. They support services across the country and internationally to better use and interpret data from these measures.
Hosted by CORC, and working directly with the Big Lottery Funded HeadStart programme, the workshop will allow attendees to gain the straightforward understanding for use of the measures, and be given a brief introduction to some of the measurement tools available, as well as have basic knowledge of how these can be applied to improve provision.
There will also be chance for attendees to reflect on their current position in terms of best practice for measuring and monitoring children and young people’s SEMHW using the Consortium’s Best Practice Framework.
The workshop will continue with an afternoon session presenting some basic concepts when it comes to analysing and interpreting this type of data at both the individual and service level.
This FREE workshop will take place on 15th May 2018 starting 9.30 am; buffet lunch is provided, and the organisers ask to let them know of any dietary requirements in advance of the Workshop.
