Lloyds Banking Group Social Entrepreneurs Programme

Lloyds bank are once again making a call for individuals who are looking to start, organise and manages a community enterprise, as well as help them deal with any of the challenges involved.

Do you have an idea for an organisation that could improve a community or tackle a social issue?

Do you have a passion to help other people or the environment?

Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland have set up a Social Entrepreneurs Start Up Programme specifically for this. It is run in partnership with School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE), jointly funded by Big Lottery Fund.

The programme designed to help you develop your plan into something that is workable and maintainable; with a clear vision for creating social impact; and offers grants to support community-focused business people across the UK to start or expand their projects.

The programme comprises the following varieties:

Start Up Programme

Grants of up to £3,000 are available for those who are in the early stage development of a project or organisation. This programme will support personal development and business skills development to help turn projects or project ideas into a reality

Scale Up Programme

Grants of up to £10,000 for established organisations that are looking to take their operations to the next level. This programme will equip applicants with the tools to develop their enterprise further and maximise its social impact

Trade Up Programme

Grants of up to £5,000 for established organisations tackling a social or environmental issue

Each strand also provides successful enterprises with a free learning programme, mentoring and a community of people who run social and environ-mental projects.

The deadline to apply for any of the programmes this season is 26th April 2017.
