National Lottery Projects Grants from the Arts Council

21-Dec-2018

Grants from £1,000 to £100,000 are available to individuals and organisations for art, museum and library projects that engage people in England with arts and culture.

Applications must meet the programme’s four criteria: Quality, Public Engagement, Finance and Management.

Take the quiz

The National Lottery Projects’ quiz can help you think about different aspects of your project and get you ready to begin your application.

Each question focuses on a different aspect of your project, and offers guidance on how you can make a strong application.

Read the Guidance

If you are applying for £15,000 or under, you will receive a decision in 6 weeks. If you are applying for over £15,000 a decision will take 12 weeks.

The How to apply documents below are essential reading, along with any of the Information sheets you may need.

Register on Grantium

Before you can start an application you need to create a user account and applicant profile.

You cannot start your eligibility questionnaire or application until The Arts Council approved your new applicant profile, which may take up to ten working days.

Once you're registered and approved, you're ready to start your application.

Because this programme is a continuous rolling project, there is no deadline and applications can be accepted at any time.
