Staying Safe in a Digital World – Free Online Computer Classes from CAS Training

CAS Training announces a new free programme to help people stay safe online, whilst saving time, money and increasing their confidence in carrying out online transactions safely.

In a new partnership venture with Lloyds Bank and Good Things Foundation to support digitally excluded people improve their financial literacy skills, their free computing classes from CAS Training are designed help support digitally excluded people improve their financial literacy skills.

If you are using the internet, it helps to think about staying safe online. This free course is aimed to help you shop, bank and socialise safely online.

Amongst various topics, clients will learn:

Keep Personal Information Secure Online

They will learn how to keep personal data safe online, as well as avoid identity theft and learn about email scams; learn about their digital footprint and being able to safely use online banking.

Using Online Banking

Clients will learn how manage and make the most of their money; as well as make a budget, manage a loan and plan for the future.

Mobile and Online Banking

Do internet banking using their computer or smart phone, and stay safe with online banking; as well as learn how to make payments online and keep track of their money.

These FREE classes will be available EVERY Friday from 9.30am till 12.30pm at The Hive Library in Northfleet.
