To Help Others on the Hoo Peninsula - wHoo Cares Fun Walk, April 2018

05-Apr-2018

Join wHoo Cares for their first Fun Walk around Hoo and the surrounding area - Plus, you'll be helping to raise money for a good cause!

Local organisation wHoo Cares work to reduce social isolation within the communities on the Peninsula, as well as work to create an unique and original new model of support for vulnerable people and their carers.

One of their main intentions is to work with local individuals, communities and organisations all over the Hoo Peninsula; and as a Community Interest Company (CIC), they put any profits they make back into the community.

Their Fun Walk takes place over Angel Farm, Ropers Lane, Hoo ME3 8PT on Saturday 28th April 2018

There will be a 10 mile walk as well as a 5 mile walk, which wHoo Cares say the shorter walk will be suitable for buggies & wheelchairs.

For more information, including Registration and Sponsorship forms, visit the wHoo Cares website, or by calling their office on 01634 272138.

wHoo Cares also say they are looking for volunteers on the day. So if you are not able to walk it but would like to help out, wHoo Cares ask you email them at walk@whoocares.org.uk or call their office on 01634 272138.
