Community Fundraising Volunteer

Rubicon Cares (Charity Number 1144081) is the only charity in Kent and Medway to provide specialist trauma based counselling to anyone affected by any crime, and is funded through grant applications and donations. We are looking for people who are honest, enthusiastic and compassionate, and have some available time which they are able to offer in support of our Charity and fundraising strategy. This is a new role, so it will develop over time, and with your help. Initially it would involve finding locations for donation boxes, distributing and monitoring donation boxes, attending community events for collecting donations, involvement in finding suitable events and planning attendance at events. You will need to be confident in talking to members of the public, and in your ability to represent Rubicon Cares Charity professionally (DBS required). We will provide you with information about Rubicon Cares, how we work and how our Charity makes a real difference to people's lives, and support you in this important volunteering role. Fundraising experience is desirable, but not essential for this role. Making a positive difference to peoples lives can be achieved in many ways, and by supporting Rubicon Cares, you will be providing vital support to victims and survivors of crime in your local areas and across Kent and Medway.

Please email on using Volunteer Community Fundraising Support in the subject heading or call and leave a message on 01622 230736.
