To meet weekly with the young person and develop a one to one relationship. Mentors will use their experience and personality to help, advise, support and guide the young person to achieve their positive goals.The mentors takes the mentee to do an activity. This can be football, swimming, crazy golf, walking or McDonalds. It's provided via a £15 per week expenses limit The Young Lives foundation aims to match young people 7-17 with appropriate adult volunteers (mentors) to encourage improved behaviour and self esteem.We support young people to achieve goals they have set themselves by supporting them to develop positive relationships within the home and encourage them to question their behaviour. No formal qualifications are required, but mentors should be trustworthy, honest, reliable, understanding and patient
