Tool Collector

The main role of a Tool Collector r is to be our first contact in their local community. Our Tool Collectors are the people that members of the public contact to donate tools.

Our Tool Collectors collect the donated tools, load them into boxes (easy to get from supermarkets), and store them ready for one of our vans to collect. They then arrange with their local Van Manager for them to be collected by a TWAM van.

Tools with a Mission

This is a home based role, so you can live anywhere in England and Wales (but excludes Devon and Cornwall).

TWAM Local Group

A Local Group is a team of people who share our passion for livelihood creating tools and get together to collect tools from their area. Many also arrange tool collections at local supermarkets, DIY stores and garden centres.

Many also offer talks to local community groups and even speak on local radio.

Some groups sort the tools before arranging collection and some even do some refurbishment, such as grinding off rust and fixing loose handles.

To start you need somewhere to store tools, such as a vacant garage or big shed and the enthusiasm to gather together likeminded friends. Our local groups have a
great community spirit and are a huge support for TWAM.

Tools with a Mission

Anywhere within England and Wales (but not Devon or Cornwall).

Church Ambassador

Our Church Ambassadors are our face and contact with the local Church. We are a Christian mission relying
entirely on the goodness, leading, and provision of God, and we need His Church to stand with us.

Our Church Ambassadors encourage their Church to pray by distributing the Prayer Diary or arranging prayer
events. They also arrange Coffee Mornings to raise funds and promote the work. They ask for TWAM to be
mentioned in notices or chosen for special collections. Overall, the Church Ambassadors keep TWAM close to
the heart of the congregation.
