Join the Age UK Kent Rivers Charity Shop Team!
We’re excited to welcome new volunteers to our much-loved charity shop in Medway — a vital part of our mission to support older people in the community. But our shop is more than just a place to find a bargain — it’s a warm, welcoming space where friendships are made and conversations flow as easily as the tea. Whether locals pop in to escape the rain (or the sunshine!), browse the rails, or simply have a friendly chat, the shop has become a true community hub. We’re proud to offer not just great finds, but also great company. Now, we're thrilled to announce that from May 2025, we'll be reopening on Saturdays after a long pause — and we need your help to make it happen! We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers who can spare a few hours (or even a whole day) on Saturdays. You’ll be joining a fantastic team of volunteers and regulars who keep the place buzzing with energy and kindness. | Age UK Kent Rivers (formerly Age UK Medway) |

NCT Walk & Talk Volunteer
We're the charity that supports people as they become parents. Local NCT groups and activities are an essential part of what we do and help parents feel confident connected and safe. Walk & Talks are an easy and accessible way to promote physical activity whilst meeting others and having somebody to talk to. As a Walk & Talk Volunteer, you will lead on setting up a new Walk & Talk or support an existing Walk & Talk group in your local area. In this role, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and inclusive community for all parents. See the link for full information and how to apply. | NCT |
