The Coach role supports young women aged 16 to 25 who are currently or recently NEET in The Looking Forward Project, funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research. The Coach facilitates a program called HOPEFUL, which includes a workbook with videos and exercises aimed at enhancing self-esteem, encouraging meaningful activities, and fostering a hopeful mindset. Coaches provide practical guidance, assist with goal-setting, and problem-solving but do not offer therapy or mental health treatment. They receive training and ongoing supervision to ensure effective support. Interested individuals must undergo a brief online interview and will receive training materials before starting coaching sessions.
