War Winning Engineering Project Digitisation Volunteer

To assist Museum staff with the “War Winning Engineering” project, made possible by money raised by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project will focus on cataloguing, conserving and digitising its collection of original plans and 3D models of Mulberry Harbour. The aim of the project is to increase public understanding of the innovation and creative problem solving essential to the Allied Victory in World War Two. This volunteer role will assist the Digital Collections Access Officer in capturing digital photographs and scans and to generate 3D models from photographs and other associated tasks that will form the basis for a temporary exhibition at the Museum, a changing online exhibition on our website, events, talks and social media content.
