Update - Relaxing of the COVID Rules, March 2022

During the Coronavirus pandemic, the UK Government’s Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) had consulted and provided guidance about the threat and risks associated with COVID-19; and in February the UK Government started to put in place the last few efforts moving towards a complete lifting of COVID restrictions in England.

From the beginning of April 2022, free testing will no longer be available, so too will provisions for COVID sick pay be removed. These will reportedly be the last of the efforts being made to move the country toward reopening society and the economy.
