An Urgent Call for Community Support in Medway for The Life Matters

"When an 8 year old tells you its time to die, its time to make changes"

It is sad but true that many children and young people in Medway are facing severe emotional distress, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. We urgently need your help to create safe spaces where they can receive immediate support during moments of crisis.

Our Proven Outcomes

Our work has already shown powerful results:
* 95% reduction in self-harm and suicidal thoughts
* 100% prevention of suicide attempts
* These outcomes show what is possible when early, compassionate support is available.

What Are Safe Spaces?

They are dedicated rooms where young people in crisis can access:
* Support from trained staff and volunteers
* A calm, non-judgmental environment
* A direct link to access ‘A Childs Voice’ mental health 10 week workbook programme

These spaces act as lifelines when a young person needs help the most.

How You Can Help

We are calling on local organisations and community partners to help us create these vital spaces.

You can support by:
* Offering free or unused space
* Donating funds, skills, or resources
* Volunteering your time
* Raising awareness in your networks

Every contribution brings us closer to ensuring no child faces crisis alone.

Join us and together, we can protect our young people and build a safer, more supportive Medway.
