Have you heard about the Baton of Hope 2025?

The baton will travel through Medway aiming to break the silence around suicide and raise awareness of support available. Visit BatonOfHopeuk.org for info on the biggest suicide prevention initiative in the UK.

During the tour, the stunning Baton of Hope will be passed from person to person along a carefully planned route, symbolising the shared experience of those affected by suicide. You can see the Baton of Hope pass through Medway on Monday, 22 September - starting 9am in Gillingham and arriving at Rochester Cathedral 11am before carrying on to Maidstone.

The HOPE Small Grants Fund has now launched inviting charities, volunteer groups, schools etc to apply for small grants to run community fringe events in the build up to the Baton of Hope Tour which arrives in Medway on Mon 22nd Sept.
