Be Part of History – Calling all Young Performers and Producers for 40th Anniversary Production, Spring 2024

The Medway African and Caribbean Association (MACA) Seeks Talented Young Dancers and event producers for their Milestone 40th Anniversary Celebration this coming July.

Celebrating four decades of cultural, art, heritage, and diversity, MACA is thrilled to announce a great opportunity for young people, aged 11-18, to take centre-stage in an exciting dance production.

The production will showcase the evolution of Hip Hop and Afrobeat dance over the past 40 years, captivating audiences at MACA's 40th Anniversary Gala Event in July this year.

This pioneering initiative aims to showcase the incredible talent of young dancers, as well as offer diverse opportunities for those interested in various aspects of production.

This opportunity includes taking part in the Event’s stage management, sound engineering, lighting design and even backstage coordination; and MACA are inviting young individuals with a passion for the arts to be part of this historic experience.

MACA say the grand performance is set to dazzle audiences at The Rochester Corn Exchange on Saturday 20th July 2024, and that this star-studded gala promises an unforgettable evening, bringing together the threads of history, culture, and artistic expression.
