Buttle UK is a charity named after Reverend Frank Buttle, a remarkable man whose hard work and personal sacrifice helped to establish their grant programmes, which have been helping children and young people in need across the UK since 1953.
Buttle UK can provide a
financial support package to help young people to meet their ambitions, and help them to set up home, or to improve their emotional, mental, or physical wellbeing.
Each package of support (which could be
worth up to £2,000) can include:
- Equipment to take up a training opportunity
- Interview clothes
- A computer for their studies
- Travel costs to get to college
To apply, Buttle UK ask that the young person shows
they have a clear ambition or intentions in education, training, or employment that they are pursuing or intend to pursue within three months of the application.
At the time of writing there was no identified deadline, which means enquiries to apply for the Support Scheme could be made at any time.
