To Support the Essential Work to tackle Homelessness - Frontline Support Grants from UK Government, Spring 2022

The UK Government recently launched a grant programme designed to support the work of the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in tackling homelessness across England.

The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) published a prospectus at the end of February 2022 that invited applications for its Voluntary, Community and Frontline Sector (VCFS) Grant programme.

Running over the next three years, this programme is a new funding approach aimed at continuing to support the important work of the Charity sector to provide solutions as well as to continue its efforts to reduce the number of homelessness and rough sleeping over the next few years.

The Government say the grant is to be delivered through four individually biddable lots, that will be handled and controlled through agreed upon workplans and regular monitoring. They add that Bidders are welcome to apply for multiple lots and that they particularly welcome partnership bids or a bid between two or more organisations planning to deliver a service.

The deadline for applications is Friday 1st April 2022.

More details and how to apply are available on the Government website.
