National Lottery Arts Council Projects Grants
Grants of up to £100,000 are available from Arts Council England (ACE) for individual artists, community and cultural organisations to support arts, museums and libraries projects that engage people in England with arts and culture.
Designed to help achieve ACE’s mission - ‘great art and culture for everyone’ – the Programme supports a broad range of not-for-profit projects that create new work and sustain quality to help new audiences across England to engage with arts and culture.
At the time of writing there was no specified deadline, suggesting applications can be accepted at any time.
For more information and how to apply, visit the ACE website.

Ashley Family Foundation
Grants are available for projects that fit with the Foundation's philosophy for protecting rural communities and encouraging participation in the arts. Grants are provided to support community museums, farms, gardens, schools and other charitable organisations with small-scale arts and community projects.
The Foundation wants to use its funding to develop strong communities, social welfare and creative arts, with a particular emphasis on supporting rural communities, so are welcome to applications requests below £10,000.
The deadline for applications is 29th April 2022
More information can be found at the Foundation’s website.

DCMS/Wolfson Museums and Galleries Improvement Fund
The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) and The Wolfson Foundation are working together to offer grants of up to £300,000 to museums and galleries for projects that improve the physical infrastructure of their venue to enhance the display, care and accessibility of significant collections.
The funders advise applications for monies must be no more than 75% of the total eligible project cost, and for this round the funding is for projects that meet at least one of the following:
  • Material improvements to the display and interpretation of collections, in permanent galleries, exhibition spaces and public spaces, to enhance visitor experience
  • Improvements to access and/or interpretation for visitors with disabilities
  • Improvements to environmental controls, collections storage and conservation facilities to enhance the care of collections
The funders also say they would expect all proposals to be environmentally sustainable.
Launching in the beginning of May, the deadline for applications will be 1st August 2022.
