Funding to Support the Visually Impaired from The Ulverscroft Foundation

The Ulverscroft Foundation continue their work to provide regular grants to fund projects that specifically support and benefit blind, partially sighted, and visually impaired (VI) people.

The Foundation advise interested parties do not need to be a registered charity; so, Community Interest Companies (CICs), social groups, sports clubs, libraries, schools, and health agencies can all apply.

The Foundation’s primary focus for any monies they provide is to support projects, equipment, or research that notably benefits the visually impaired.

To apply, The Foundation advise interested parties must visit their Grants Page, read the complete rules and download their official application form.

Based on their Grant Application Guidelines, The Foundation indicate that any application must outline an applicant’s current service, and details such as how many VI individuals will benefit and show a clear financial breakdown.

With quarterly deadlines in December, March, and June, the Foundation’s next quarterly application deadline is 15th September 2026.

More information and how to apply can be found at the Foundation’s website.
