FutureCoders CIC - Impact, Planning, Evaluation & Reporting Tool Update

**REMINDER** Your help with the evaluation of a new Impact planning and reporting tool will be so valuable and you still have time to have your say.

FutureCoders CIC has been awarded UK Shared Prosperity funding to conduct a feasibility study which will endeavor to produce and circulate a first version of an easy-to-use, online, impact planning tool and to evaluate the appetite for its adoption into common practice.

FutureCoders CIC pass on their greatest of thanks to those of you who have already got involved and completed this short survey. If not, they would really appreciate your help to establish whether, or not, there is an appetite for an online, easy-to-use tool that may help to ease the process of planning and reporting impact. Clear and targeted reporting can help to increase the likelihood of future funding and for small charities this can help with sustainability. If it can be done more quickly and effectively based on best practice, with examples easy to access, bidding success rates could, potentially, be increased.

The online tool will attempt to provide an easy-to-use platform for sharing impact reports, planning new impact evaluation activities and creating new impact reports as a result of those activities. The developed tool will be available to charities, online and free to access and your input will help shape the way it works.

FutureCoders will be aiming to evaluate the feasibility of introducing an online version of a framework developed by the Transformation Academy (named the ‘Matrix tool’). It was developed to help facilitate and share best practice in impact planning, evaluation and reporting.

They kindly request a few minutes of your time as local voluntary and community sector leaders to complete a short survey. Your feedback will

  • Help them to better understand a need for a tool of this type.
  • Help them to identify organisations that would be willing to help evaluate the tool.
  • Potentially help to ensure that the final online version of the tool meets the needs of the community.

The survey should take only 2-3 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of this study.
