to raise awareness of dementia, removing stigma and educating others on the condition.
Each year the campaign is based around a theme that aims to show the importance of helping to end the devastation of dementia and the impact it has on those living with it and their families.
During September,
Alzheimer’s Society will be sharing more
information about this year's theme as well as resources and ways charities, community groups and others can get involved to
make sure no one faces dementia alone.
Each year, World Alzheimer's Day is on or around 21st September, and it's a global opportunity to raise dementia awareness and support people affected by the disease.
As a charity who understand all parts of dementia, Alzheimer’s Society want to lead the conversation on this condition by showing not only
the scale of the problem, but the
scale and ambition of their solution.
Alzheimer’s Society understand a dementia diagnosis can leave people feeling scared or anxious; but those affected need to know that they are never alone, and their Dementia Advisers are there to support them every step of the way.
