New Medway Council VCSEF Healthy Workplace Programme Launch

Due to the success of the local business arm of the programme, it is now rolling out to Medway's Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise & Faith Sector (VCSEF), through offering support in creating healthier workplaces through relevant policies, training and guidance.

The programme supports community organisations, charities and groups of all sizes to meet the health needs of their workplace more effectively.

This could be done by:

• making sure the right policies are in place to support health and wellbeing at work
• ensuring the workplace is supportive for good health and wellbeing
• a thorough staff and volunteer training programme
• giving line managers help to be supportive and teams the chance to engage in healthy activities either in work or in their own time.
