Join the VCSEF leaders network and your colleagues from across Medway’s VCSEF sector for an update covering local priorities, plans, emerging developments and opportunities to connect.

We have a great line up of speakers coming along including Cllr Vince Maple, Leader of Medway Council, on Local Government Re-organisation (LGR) Plans, Scott Elliott, Head of Health and Wellbeing Services at Medway Council, on Medway’s Marmot Place Partnership.

There will also be a representative from the Neighbourhood Health Board sharing their plans and proposed sector priorities.

LGR Plans:

The event will include sector updates, LGR plans, networking, shared learning, workshops and an open Q & A on challenges and opportunities for Medway.

We encourage everyone to watch this video that Cllr Maple has put together on what the changes will mean for Medway

Medway Marmot Places:

Scott Elliot will share an update on how Medway is tackling health inequalities through its Marmot Place Partnership.

This will include an overview and demonstration of some new tools such as the health inequalities asset map and a workshop involving a proposed impact assessment tool.

Who is the Event for:

The event is open to charities, community groups, social enterprises, faith organisations, funders, volunteer coordinators, trustees, public sector colleagues and health partners.
