MVA are excited to be recruiting for a new role within their team - Senior Projects Officer.

Are you a dynamic and experienced project professional ready to take the lead on high-impact initiatives and have a passion for working with local communities? We’re looking for a Senior Projects Officer to join our team and drive forward strategic projects that make a difference.

About the Role

As Senior Projects Officer, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and delivering projects from inception to completion, working with community organisations and a range of stakeholders, monitoring budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes. Your expertise will shape critical initiatives that align with our organisation’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on and oversee multiple projects, ensuring objectives are met efficiently.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and .
  • Assign and monitor project staff tasks, tracking key milestones, preparing insightful reports.
  • Undertake activities to market and promote programmes and projects
  • Build strong relationships with community organisations to drive collaboration and project success.
About You

We’re looking for someone with a passion for working with local organisations and communities and have a strong background in project management and a track record of successfully delivering results.

You’ll have: Proven experience in managing complex projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Knowledge of project management methodologies and the ability to work autonomously and support teams effectively.

Recruitment Details

Post Title: Senior Projects Officer

Hours of work: 37 hours weekly, flexible hours to be agreed (some evening and weekend working may be required)

Salary: £32,000 annually

Contract: 12 month Fixed term
