About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and community-driven Contracts Manager to join our team at MVA. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and deliver a county wide programme working with VCSEF partners.

MVA is currently going through a period of exciting organisational change and development, making this a fantastic time to join the organisation. As we strengthen our partnerships, refine our offer and expand our impact across the VCSEF (Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise and Faith) sector, this role provides the opportunity to shape and influence meaningful work at a pivotal stage in our journey.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight, management, and delivery

of a funded gambling harms contract. The role will ensure high-quality, person-centred services that address gambling-related harm through prevention, early intervention, and targeted support.

The Contract Manager will work closely with partners across the VCSE sector, public health, and statutory services to ensure an effective, joined-up approach to reducing gambling harms in Medway.

About You

We are looking for a skilled and values-driven individual with:
  • Proven experience in contract or programme management, ideally within health, wellbeing, or public health
  • Knowledge of gambling harms, addiction, or behaviour change
    (or transferable experience in related fields)
  • Strong understanding of the VCSE sector and partnership working
  • Experience managing budgets, performance monitoring, and reporting
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
  • A commitment to reducing inequalities and improving community wellbeing
