MVA have TWO New Grant Funding Opportunities on behalf of Medway Council and are now available through the
Social Impact Gateway. These grants are funded through the Best Start in Life funding (from the DfE and DHSC) and allocated to Medway to improve the school readiness of children.
Local organisations working with families, young people or targeted communities in Medway are invited to apply for one or both of the grants below.
Grant 1 is available to organisations seeking to recruit, train and mobilise peers with the knowledge to identify perinatal mental health issues and to reduce the impact of perinatal mental health.
Grant 2 is to provide training and resources to community groups to promote learning and parent skills through play and experience sharing.
SIG Affiliated organisations can apply for
grants up to £5000 for one individual fund or a combined amount of up to £5000 for both funds.
