Are you passionate about the Voluntary & Community Sector with communications and community development as your areas of expertise? If yes, you may be the ideal candidate for this exciting opportunity!

Capitalising on your passion for working with the voluntary sector, you will empower and enable organisations within Medway to raise their profile, share their message and be heard through MVA’s varied communication channels. You will shine through the creation and management of a variety of communication campaigns using multiple social media platforms including You Tube, mail chimp, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and MVA’s website, raising MVA’s profile further on new and innovative platforms.

A self-starter you will excel both at lone working and as part of the vibrant, diverse, warm, successful and inviting MVA Team with shared values and clear mission. With excellent people and communication skills (written and verbal) and a talent for relationship building at all levels you will be flexible and have finely tuned organisational skills to support your prioritising of your varied and interesting role.

You will have strong data, report writing and negotiating skills to compliment your engaging presentation style and hosting experience. Ideally candidates will have knowledge and or experience of volunteer management and the ability to share their expertise with others.

You will be based at Medway Voluntary Action but will work across the Medway and Swale Health and Care Partnership area.

Hours: Full time (37 hours per week)
Salary: £26,800 annually
Contract Permanent
Based at: MVA, 5a New Road Avenue, Chatham, ME4 6BB
