News Round-up from KCF, March 2023

MVA offers a selection of headlines from the Kent Community Foundation.

Infrastructure Support Fund from KCC
A new funding programme from Kent County Council (KCC) has been launched to provide business support to the Voluntary Sector in Kent.

Facilitated by Kent Community Foundation (KCF), the new Infrastructure Support Fund is open to all charities, community groups, community Interest Companies (CICs) and companies limited by guarantee.

The Foundation says the funding is designed to support existing, dormant or new infrastructure support projects.

The deadline for applications is 14th April 2023.

More information can be found at the KCF website.

Themed Programmes is now named Priority Areas Route
The Themed Programmes from Kent Community Foundation have now been rebranded as Priority Areas Route.

The Foundation reassures that nothing has changed about the way to apply for the funding rounds previously called Themed Programmes - they've simply updated the name for this application route.

This now compliments routes to apply for other forms of funding such as Micro Groups Route and the Annual Application Route and would still cover the most pressing social challenges facing Kent and Medway communities.

The Foundation’s Priority Areas remain the same as announced in previous funding updates:
  • Children, Young People & Families
  • Elderly & Isolated
  • Vulnerable Adults
  • Employability, Skills & Enterprise, and
  • Environment
The Foundation advises the deadline for these rebranded funding rounds is 31st May 2023, with further dates to be announced in later seasons.

More information can be found on the KCF website.
