Are you a senior leader within the VCSEF Sector in Medway?
Great news. There is still time to join MVA’s bespoke development programme designed by senior leaders in the sector, specifically for senior leaders.
MVA are offering their ‘Realise Your Potential‘ (RYP) bespoke development programme for senior leaders, designed by senior sector leaders to Gold level members of Medway’s VCS Leaders Network. Gold membership offers a wide range of support for £150 per year.
The programme aims to enhance skills, navigate local challenges, share successes, and make a bigger difference within their organisations and the wider community.
The first successful cohort of the programme came together in July, and the next crucial session is scheduled for September.
The even better news is that, MVA are proud to continue their sector support and are committed to making the programme accessible.
To do this, MVA has introduced a new Bursary Scheme which seeks to support individuals and local organisations who believe in the power of strong leadership.
Contributions to the Bursary can directly enable a dedicated VCS leader to access invaluable training and networking opportunities, strengthening our collective impact.
Don’t take our word for it, we are thrilled to see this already in action. We currently have both a Bursary Recipient and a Bursary Contributor within our first cohort.
Becky Farley from Mid-Kent College, our first Bursary Contributor said:
“We are proud to support our voluntary and charity community. As a leading provider of training and education in our local area; we are always seeking to find ways to create and participate in opportunities for those individuals and organisations who may not always have the resources available to transform their learning potential”.
Echoing this, our first Bursary Recipient, Catherine from MEGAN CIC, says………..
“As an organisation with a limited training budget, we’re extremely grateful to Mid-Kent College for providing the bursary to MEGAN CIC. The first session was very useful, and I’m looking forward to continuing the discussions in our next meeting. Without this bursary, we simply wouldn’t have been able to access such a valuable opportunity”.
