An exciting opportunity to lead MVA as its Chief Executive Officer is shortly to become available. MVA is Medway's voluntary sector infrastructure organisation; under this contract, we support to the Voluntary, Community, Social Enterprise and Faith (VCSEF) sector to develop, represent it on a range of boards and committees and connect organisations with potential volunteers. In addition, and with different funding streams, we deliver a number of projects, many in partnership with the VCSEF . These projects are mainly but not exclusively related to addressing health inequalities. As such we have excellent working relationships with the VCSEF, the statutory sector, including Medway Council, Swale Borough Council, Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board and Medway and Swale Health and Care Partnership. The current CEO also works closely with her peers across Kent to maximise assets for the VCSEF.
MVA has been a recipient of significant National Lottery funding - the most recent resulting in the development of the nationally recognised Transformation Academy delivered to VCSEF leaders and evaluated by Nottingham Trent University.
MVA has national and local recognition as a skilled and experienced provider and a strong track record of success holding at its heart the growth and development of the VCSEF. This is a full time role which will commence as soon after 1
st August 2025 as possible.
