The Swan Mountain Trust are currently offering small grants to support UK organisations working with refugees and asylum seekers with a special focus on young people's mental health.
The
Swan Mountain Trust is a small charity that gives out financial grants to help small, UK-registered organisations.
At the time of writing, the Trust are specifically focusing on groups that support refugees and asylum seekers, especially those providing mental health support for young people in these categories.
The Trust say their one-off grants can be used to help with specific costs or projects (such as volunteer expenses, activities, or core running costs.)
The be eligible, the Trust advise enquiries should come from small organisations with an annual income of under £500,000 and must work with refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.
The Trust is especially interested in applications from projects focused on the mental health of young migrants.
To apply, the Trust advise that interested parties send an initial email enquiry to explain their project before submitting a full application; and they can be reached via Jan Hargreaves, the Trust’s administrator, directly via email at jan.swanmountaintrust@gmail.com.
Whilst the Trustees meet three times a year (February, June, and October) to review applications and make decisions, the Trust say there is NO deadline, so interested parties can apply at any time.
