Two Funding Opportunities Tackling Social Inclusion in Local Communities

A B Charitable Trust Funding Programme

The A B Charitable Trust work to support the most marginalised and excluded groups in the UK, who are often from communities experiencing poverty and racial inequality.

Their grants can provide core cost funding for small to medium-sized registered UK Charities that defend human rights and promote respect for vulnerable individuals in the UK

They also offer contact details of other organisations to get advice on alternative sources of funding.

Their next call for applications will relaunch in the Winter period with a deadline for midday on 30th January 2026 (with further dates to be announced).

Kent Community Foundation - Priority Areas Route (Vulnerable Adults)

Kent Community Foundation (KCF) continues to provide funding for projects that help vulnerable adults stay well and independent, with a focus on early intervention projects to tackle disadvantage, deprivation, and social exclusion.

The Priority Areas Route forms part of the various funding programs the Foundation has to offer interested parties.

Grants are available for projects that:
  • Work to give vulnerable people the opportunity to socialise with others
  • Provide life skills and work experience for adults with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, or mental health issues
  • Protect and support victims of abuse
  • Integrate marginalised groups into the wider community, or
  • Support carers who look after family members or loved ones at home
