To Build Pride in Place and Increase Life Chances – The VCS UK Shared Prosperity Fund meetings from MVA, May 2022

Medway Voluntary Action is inviting voluntary and community sector (VCS) groups and organisations, of all shapes and size, to get involved with a local discussion about an upcoming bid for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund has allocated £2.6 Billion over the first three years and is intended to be a key part of the UK Government’s wider levelling up agenda.

The primary goal of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund is to build pride in place and increase life chances across the UK. So, who better to carry the lantern, than the VCS who are at the heart of our communities; giving them a voice, empowering them, and helping to build their resilience.

Taking place online, the meetings will bring together a broad range of VCS organisations, to discuss and collaborate on how to move forward on producing a successful bid for the sector in Medway.

MVA will be assisting and supporting this process on behalf of the sector – and they would like YOU to be part of it.
