Unrestricted Funding from the Matthew Good Foundation

The Matthew Good Foundation offers the Grants for Good program providing unrestricted funding for UK-based small charities, voluntary groups, local community groups and similar organisations with medium-to-low incomes.

The use of funds is unrestricted - meaning the money can be spent on things such as core running costs or project expenses.

With applications open all year-round, funding is distributed every three months to five shortlisted groups decided by employee voting.

At the time of writing, the Key Grant Amounts and Awards Every Quarter:
  • First place: £5,000
  • Second place: £3,500
  • Third place: £2,500
  • Fourth place: £2,000
  • Fifth place: £2,000
The qualify, the Foundation asks that applicants have an income of less than £50,000 per year and have a valid bank account in the exact name of the applying organization.

Whilst decisions are made every quarter, the Grants for Good scheme is a Continuous Rolling Programme, meaning applications can be made at any time.
