Branch Team Volunteer
NCT is the UK's leading charity for parents. The charity's vision is that everyone who becomes a parent feels confident, connected, and safe. Local branches are run exclusively by volunteers. Coram Beanstalk Reading Helper We create readers because when a child becomes a reader, they get the very best chance in life, and every child deserves that. At Coram Beanstalk we believe that life is better when everyone can read well and express themselves with confidence. That's why we recruit, train and support volunteers to work with primary aged children to help them find a love of reading.Our volunteers work one-to-one with children who would benefit from dedicated time with an adult who can help them with their reading and communication skills. You will be working in a local primary school two afternoons a week. We provide training and support throughout your role as a volunteer. Benefits of volunteering:

Cafe Assistants At Gillingham Street angels café in Prospect Place, Blake Avenue, Gillingham, ME7 1FX we are currently looking for volunteers to cook, serve and help with general kitchen duties, experience not essential but would be an advantage in working in a fast paced environment as we can get quite busy. We are mainly looking for people to cover a few hours on Saturday and Sunday at present but some weekday shifts are also available.
