Your Views Count - Citizens Advice Medway Planning to Extend Services to the Heart of Community, June 2022

Citizens Advice Medway are developing plans to branch out and offer their services at various public venues and events and want to hear your views on this.

As reported previously, Local organisation Citizens Advice Medway (CAM) have been operating a full service since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, they are now looking at extending their services further, and are seeking an opinion on whether you believe their services would be useful within different locations across the community.

CAM understand the Costs of Living Crisis is impacting Medway’s residents, causing them to struggle with Bills, Food, and Essential Outgoings.

CAM say they are here to make sure those individuals feel supported and know where to turn for help and can offer advice from a wide range of subjects including Debt, Housing, Benefits, Legal, Family, Consumer and Bereavement.

They can also provide training for external organisations, covering areas such as Financial Capability, Increasing the awareness of relevant Benefits, and offer different solutions to cost-of-living related issues.

CAM say they are happy to attend various public venues and events including:
  • Open Days
  • Road Shows
  • Community Events
  • Social Events
  • Schools and Organisations
  • Regular Outreaches
